Pattern Bluestone is available in two textures. "natural cleft" and "thermal finish". When Bluestone is quarried it is cut into blocks. Once these blocks are removed they are hand split. The hand splitting leaves what is termed a "natural cleft" texture. To achieve a "thermal" finish, a process that involves the application of heat and moisture is used. The result is a surface that is smoother than "natural cleft", yet still very natural in appearance. Bluestone is available in several colors from Abella Stone (blue/blue, blue/green & full color). Always pick color from actual samples, due to the potential variance of color in natural stone.
